How to set up your KoraGate workspace in 10 minutes

CS

A new tool is only useful if you can get it running quickly. Here is how to set KoraGate up in about ten minutes so you do not have to come back to the setup later.

1. Your workspace is your own space

After you register you get your own workspace. Each workspace's data is separated from all others and you are its owner. Name it after your company or team so people recognise it when they are invited.

2. Projects, folders and tasks

Work in KoraGate is organised on three levels:

  • Project - the whole, for example one client or one job.
  • Folder - a part of a project, such as "Website", "Advertising" or "Invoicing".
  • Task - a specific piece of work with a description, a deadline and a status.

A new workspace contains a sample project called "VĂtejte v KoraGate" (Welcome to KoraGate). Keep it as an example or delete it. It does not count towards your plan limits, so you can create your own project right away.

3. Task statuses

Every task is in one of these states: To-Do, In progress, Waiting, Done or Canceled. "Waiting" is useful for things that depend on someone else, such as materials from a client. The team sees at a glance what is blocked.

4. Invite colleagues and set roles

Invite colleagues by e-mail. Every member has a role, so they see and can do only what they need. Invitations require a verified e-mail address, so confirm yours before you start inviting.

5. Small things that save time

  • Switch between dark and light mode to suit you.
  • You can install KoraGate as an app on your phone or computer.
  • Task comments are available from the Team plan.
