Legal information
Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of the KoraGate service. By registering or using the service you agree to them.
Last updated: 20. 10. 2026
1. Provider and scope
KoraGate is provided by Jitka Hořavová, business identification number (IČO) 88201856, registered business address Jiráskova 436/8, 789 85 Mohelnice, Czech Republic, a self-employed natural person trading under the business name Codecron. Codecron is not a separate company or legal entity. The provider is not registered for Czech VAT. Contact: support@koragate.tech; https://koragate.tech. We communicate by email only. These terms apply to businesses and consumers; mandatory consumer protections take precedence.
2. Service and definitions
KoraGate is an online software-as-a-service platform for workspaces, teams, projects, tasks, files and client requests. A customer purchases or activates a plan; a user may also be an invited workspace member. A consumer acts outside their trade or profession; a business customer acts for professional purposes. Plan functionality, limits, prices and browser requirements are described in the price list presented before ordering. A current version of a common web browser is required to use the service.
3. Registration and contracting
The free agreement is established when registration is completed and the account activated. A paid plan requires a separate electronic order. Before ordering, the customer must be shown the service, total price, billing interval, renewal conditions and an opportunity to correct errors. A paid order is completed by confirming payment in the secure payment gateway. Before redirection to payment the customer sees the chosen plan, price, billing interval and renewal information and confirms agreement to these terms. We send the payment confirmation with the invoice by email; the current terms are always available at https://koragate.tech/terms.
4. Accounts and access
Users must give accurate information, safeguard their credentials and notify support of suspected misuse. They are responsible for their own actions, but are not automatically liable for every unauthorised third-party action. Workspace administrators manage team permissions within the available functionality.
5. Plans, payments and renewals
Free and paid monthly or annual plans are available. Payment is charged in advance through an external payment provider, according to the information shown at checkout. Paid plans renew for the same term unless renewal is cancelled in Billing settings before the next billing event. Cancelling renewal preserves paid access until the end of the paid period, after which the workspace moves to the Free plan. No pro-rata refund is due solely because renewal is cancelled, without prejudice to mandatory refund, withdrawal and remedies for non-conformity. Material changes to renewal prices must be communicated in advance and require the legal basis or consent applicable to the contract. Failed payments: Stripe retries a failed payment according to its settings and we inform the workspace owner. The service is not suspended after the first failed payment; if payment cannot be collected after repeated attempts, the subscription ends and the workspace moves to the Free plan.
6. Trial and beta programme
A new workspace may use one 14-day free trial of paid features without supplying a card. On expiry it reverts to Free unless the customer actively orders a paid plan; no automatic paid obligation arises. Beta invitations may temporarily provide paid features free of charge; invitation-specific terms govern duration and any continuous-subscription discount. Any discount applies only as described in the invitation; cancellation may end eligibility.
7. Consumer withdrawal
A consumer contracting at a distance generally has 14 days after conclusion to withdraw without giving a reason, unless a statutory exception applies. Send an unambiguous notice to support@koragate.tech or the provider address, using the optional form below. If the consumer expressly requests performance during the withdrawal period, statutory rules may permit charging a proportionate amount for performance already supplied. Before paying for a paid plan, the consumer ticks a checkbox confirming agreement to these terms, expressly requests that the service starts immediately and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal lapses once the service has been fully provided. Merely activating an account does not automatically terminate withdrawal rights. Where legally due, reimburse payments within 14 days using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
8. User content and acceptable use
Users must not misuse the service, disrupt its operation or upload unlawful material. Rights in customer-created content remain with their respective holders; the provider may process it solely to the extent necessary to host, transmit, display and back up the content for service delivery. Customers must have an appropriate basis for uploading personal data.
9. Intellectual property
The KoraGate software, code, interface and documentation are protected by intellectual-property rights. The customer receives a non-exclusive right to access and use the service for the contractual term and plan scope, not ownership of the platform.
10. Availability, changes and updates
Temporary outages may occur for maintenance, incidents or events beyond reasonable control. The provider supplies updates required to maintain conformity with the contract for the legally required period. Non-essential changes affecting consumers are subject to applicable statutory requirements, including advance notice and termination rights when material access or use is adversely affected.
11. Defects, complaints and disputes
Report faults to support@koragate.tech with a description and account identifier. Consumers enjoy statutory remedies for lack of conformity of digital services, including bringing the service into conformity free of charge and, where applicable, a price reduction or termination. Complaints must be acknowledged and resolved in legally applicable periods; under Czech consumer rules this is generally within 30 days unless a valid longer period is agreed. Czech Trade Inspection Authority: https://coi.gov.cz/informace-o-adr/. Court remedies remain available.
12. Liability
The provider is liable under applicable law. No clause excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer remedies or damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
13. Cancellation, export and deletion
Cancelling recurring billing is distinct from deleting an account. Consumers can also cancel without logging in using the “Cancel contracts here” button in the website footer. Following the end of a paid plan, a workspace may move to Free with its applicable limits. A cancelled account is deactivated and workspace content is deleted on request no later than 30 days after receipt. Encrypted backups are kept for 14 days on the server and up to 30 days off the server, then expire. Consumer statutory rights to retrieve non-personal content are preserved; on request sent to support@koragate.tech we provide an export of the data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format; some outputs (such as the time-tracking export) are available in the app depending on the plan. Personal data are processed and erased according to GDPR and any applicable data-processing agreement.
14. Personal data
Privacy information: https://koragate.tech/privacy; cookies: https://koragate.tech/cookies. For data uploaded by business customers, the customer may be controller and the provider processor; we conclude an Article 28 GDPR data-processing agreement at the customer's request (support@koragate.tech).
15. Amendment of terms
Changes are permitted only under the contract and applicable law, for example due to regulatory, security or necessary technical changes. Customers will receive appropriate notice. Where agreement is legally required it must be obtained. Statutory termination and consumer rights remain unaffected.
16. Governing law
Czech law governs, without depriving consumers in other countries of mandatory protections applicable under private international law. Court jurisdiction follows applicable rules, including EU rules.

Information for consumers in the EU
Scope of the English version
This English version is intended for customers in the EU and EEA. Mandatory consumer rights under the law of the consumer’s habitual residence remain unaffected. The terms are not specifically localised for countries outside the EU.
EU consumer rules
Under Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers who conclude a contract at a distance generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal, subject to statutory exceptions. Directive (EU) 2019/770 governs the conformity of digital services and consumer remedies as implemented nationally. Activating an account for a continuous SaaS service does not by itself end the right of withdrawal.
Subscriptions and accessibility
Billing cycles and automatic renewal are shown before purchase, and renewal can be cancelled in Billing management in your account. Cross-border consumer disputes can be referred to the competent authority or the European Consumer Centre.
